Spring Colors Inspiration

People often ask me where I get my inspiration for different projects. At Simopoulos designs, in the discovery process with clients, we dig deep to learn about how they live and what they are drawn to. Usually there are one or two things that will stick out- whether it's a piece of art, a fabric, a color they love or sometimes it's more abstract. Either way, it's a starting point for creating a color story that drives the project. We put together some examples of some spring inspired flat lays- each having a different aspect that is driving it yet all are reminiscent of the season. All are super versatile and would sit comfortably in a bathroom, kids room and equally as well anywhere throughout a home.

Whimsical wallpaper was the starting point for this flat lay. We pulled several colors to highlight, adding in the brown wood and copper tones.

This color palette is coastal inspired and gives a slight nod to the summer days that are coming. We love how these muted colors come together, creating a calming and serene feel.

This is one for all the neutral lovers out there! Playing with different textures gives the palette the depth necessary when using tone on tone.

These soft blues combined with tans and a splash of pink feels very feminine. We love the textural watercolor wallpaper and varying shades of blue.

These greens speak spring to us. This palette is fresh and vibrant just like the season!

The freshness in the air, the renewal of life, and new beginnings were the jumping off point for all these fun palettes that whisper springtime. We had a ton of fun creating these 5 sweetly inspired flat lays with all the feels of the season.

We know which one we liked best- how about you?
